I'm a college student majoring in AYA Language Arts, a writer and an inadequate artist. Maybe a future Disney cast member, if hard work really does make dreams come true! ºoº

“Jazzland” Six Flags New Orleans was in operation from 2000 to 2005. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the park was left to soak for over a month under 4-7 feet of floodwater from Lake Pontchartrain, resulting in what was announced as a complete collateral loss to the company. Currently, the fate of the property is still undecided. The park was used as a set location for the upcoming film  Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, portraying the fictional Circeland on the island of Polyphemus.
